Light to moderate rain is likely in Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan and Muzaffarabad today; There will be fairly widespread rainfall with thunderstorm, lightning and gusty winds over Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand till 8th May and during 9th May to 11th May.

Scattered light to moderate rainfall is likely over Haryana-Chandigarh, Punjab and East Rajasthan from May 9 to May 11 and scattered light to moderate rainfall is likely over Uttar Pradesh from May 7 to May 11.

Scattered light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorm and lightning and gusty winds are very likely over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry & Karaikal, Kerala & Mahe, Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, Rayalaseema & Telangana during the next 5 days. There is a possibility of rain over North and South Interior Karnataka on May 7 and May 8 and over Lakshadweep on May 9.

Isolated heavy rainfall is likely over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal and Rayalaseema on 7th and 8th; Over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, Telangana and South Interior Karnataka on 7 May and over Kerala and Mahe on 8 May and 9 May.
