Weather Update: Strong surface wind is expected in Delhi-NACR today during the day. At the same time, the weather will remain dry. The minimum temperature of Delhi will be 18 degrees Celsius and the maximum will be 38 degrees Celsius.

The weather will be clear in most of the states of the country today. Heatwave warning was issued in Bihar, Odisha, West Bengal, coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala and Telangana.
Humidity will trouble you at these places
Humidity along with heat will cause trouble in Konkan-Goa, Coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu-Puducherry. A warning has also been issued regarding thunderstorm and lightning in Coastal Andhra Pradesh.
At the same time, yellow alert has been issued regarding heatwave in Gujarat. Apart from the North-East states of Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, yellow alert of thunderstorm and lightning has been issued in Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh.
Increase in temperature in Uttarakhand
Today the weather in Uttarakhand is expected to be dry and sunny, due to which there is a possibility of increase in temperature. On Thursday, it was sunny in Doon since morning. However, a slight coolness was felt in the morning. At the same time, the weather may change once again in the state from Saturday. There are chances of partly to mainly cloudy weather in most areas of the state.
Thunderstorm and lightning alert in Himachal
In Himachal Pradesh, yellow alert has been issued regarding thunderstorm and lightning at some places in the state on May 4 and 5. Western disturbance is expected to become active once again in the state from May 4. However, it will not have much effect.
